Seventy7’s 7 Movers & Shakers: Bryserk
A’ja: Between doing music and modeling, which one did you start with first? And which one do you enjoy more?
Bryserk: I started music before modeling and love doing that more than anything. It’s where I feel in my element the most. But don’t get me wrong, I love modeling too tho. I used to be a lil shy, but I grew out of it. It still shows sometimes, but I just don’t think as much any more lol.
A’ja: With so many people pursuing music these days, how do you plan to set yourself apart and stand out from the crowd?
Bryserk: I set myself apart with my mindset and morals. I gotta good head on me (pause). Trust, I am one to step out my comfort zone, but it gets to a point dude… oh yeah, and of course my unpredictable swag.
A’ja: Atlanta is a city buzzing with young, aspiring creatives, but the reality is that many of us still face everyday challenges and real-life obstacles. Has it been difficult building your career while also navigating young adulthood? If so, what strategies do you use to stay focused and on track?
Bryserk: It’s definitely not been easy trying to get to any goal I’ve wanted to reach and yet to have reach. My motivation mainly come from my loved ones and just knowing what’s gone come with my work ethic… gotta focus on the end goal, and even then the accolades are endless, always room to improve.
A’ja: When did your passion for music begin, and what does music mean to you?
Bryserk: My passion for music really began about 3 years ago. I’ve always loved music, even since I was a toddler in my room listening to EVERY GENRE THERE WAS. Three years ago I’ve grown to appreciate it more than ever. Music can get you through so many low points in life. Music means to me what honey means to bees lol.
A’ja: Is there a career path or field you’d like to explore in the future that you haven’t had the chance to try yet?
Bryserk: I dabbled in it briefly, but I definitely would love to become a fashion designer. I’ve always been told I dress great. Even if other people don’t like it, I bet this confidence make it look cool as fuck. But yeah, I feel like no one’s brain thinks as deep as mine. I be having the craziest designs in my head wishing they were real pieces, but I want all the credit lol, so Ima just put a hold on that while I handle the task at hand.
A’ja: You’ve collaborated on songs and also modeled for various brands. How important do you think it is to build relationships and collaborate with other creatives in Atlanta?
Bryserk: It’s very important to build relationships of all sorts, not just Atlanta, but everywhere, especially since a lotta folks act to good for everything here, so when you find someone that really fucks with you cherish that. Plus you never know who people know, and that always is the case in Atlanta. You building a relationship with the people you work with build notoriety to your name and make “work” fun. I did a photoshoot for this grooming company Bevel and those people had a brotherly vibe, definitely some of the coolest people I’ve met. East Goons brand photoshoots, those are people I can call my brotha… I fuck with what they doing. Ofc yall know my brothers Moeda, Cash, all dem, whether it’d be a photoshoot, a song, chemistry gone always be there, forever love for them… point is cherish your connections because them might be the only resources you down to at some point and vice versa for them.
A’ja: What are your some of your goals for 2025 and what do you see yourself doing differently than you were last year?
Bryserk: know I suck at promoting, I be so on to the next lol, but ima focus on doing better at it. And as far as goals? HAHA #MainCharacter… all I gotta say.
