A Seventy7 Magazine Exclusive

Some people step into the industry quietly. Corri DuBose? She’s kicking the door down and making sure you know her name.

At just 16 years old, Corri is already proving she’s a force to be reckoned with—a model, an actress, a musician, and a pop culture connoisseur who refuses to be put in a box. She’s not just here to fit in; she’s here to stand out, to shake things up, and to claim her place as one of the next big names in entertainment.

And what better way to make an entrance than on her birthday? As March 6th marks another year of life for Corri, it also marks the beginning of her era—an era where she is taking up space, owning her voice, and making sure the world knows exactly who she is.

Her highly anticipated podcast, The Corriculum, is set to launch in April, produced by The JstnHQ Network. But this isn’t just any podcast—it’s a cultural moment. With The Corriculum, Corri is bringing something fresh, unfiltered, and necessary to the table: a platform where Black girlhood, pop culture, and music collide in ways that feel authentic, necessary, and overdue. She’s not just talking about what’s trending—she’s shaping the conversations that will define a generation.

But Corri’s talents don’t stop there. She’s recently signed with JstnHQ as a model, proving that her presence isn’t just meant to be heard—it’s meant to be seen. With a passion for acting and music also on the horizon, she’s entering this industry as a multi-hyphenate powerhouse with no plans of slowing down.

This Seventy7 Magazine exclusive is her first major editorial—a statement, an introduction, and a declaration: Corri DuBose has arrived.

Now, in her own words, Corri tells us who she is, what she’s here to do, and why this is just the beginning.

Q&A WITH CORRI DUBOSE

1. The Arrival of Corri DuBose

When people hear the name Corri DuBose, what do you want them to immediately associate with it?
"Inspiration. I want them to associate it with just the ultimate feeling of love and warmth and joy when they hear it. Just motherly, warm inspiration—a good feeling all around."

What’s the boldest thing you’ve done in your career so far?
"Honestly, just taking the initiative, getting ahead. Just trying to work on my skills and find where I am in my space of art and creation. That is pretty bold. I think one of the boldest things you can do is work on it, be authentic, and just keep creating."

What drives you to be fearless in an industry that can be so intimidating?
"The wanting for love and community is very strong in representation. When you feel like you've changed the world in some capacity, you get some type of joy—not just an egotistical joy but joy from the impact you make on the people around you and the world. That is what gives me joy."

2. The Corriculum: A Podcast for the Culture

Your podcast, The Corriculum, is a love letter to Black girlhood, pop culture, and music. What made now the perfect time for you to step behind the mic and share your voice?
"Well, you never know if it's the perfect time until you really start getting into it and you start seeing the impact you make. But I feel like I’ve been called to do this now because I’m really starting my journey, and it would be monumental to show my growth from the beginning all the way into the future. It’s also to help people like me—younger Black women—see that they have a community."

You’re not just a fan of pop culture—you get it on a deep level. What’s one trend or shift happening right now that you think people are sleeping on?
"People are really sleeping on how much we recycle trends. Like, why do we need a new water bottle every single year? We had Hydro Flasks, then the Stanley cups, and now something new—it’s tiring! Also, I love the 'girls supporting girls' trend, but I think we need to make sure it doesn’t get lost in the hype and remains genuine."

You’re a proud member of the Beyhive. What does Beyoncé mean to you?
"Beyoncé is Beyoncé! She is 100% one of my biggest inspirations—not just in music but in life. She’s taught me so much, like not responding to hate and not feeding negativity. She moves with grace and power, and that’s something I admire deeply. Being part of the Beyhive is more than just being a fan; it’s about understanding her vision and being part of a community that uplifts her work. I think the only downside is that sometimes we’re more there for Beyoncé than for each other, and that’s something I wish would change. But overall, being a part of the Beyhive is a reminder that excellence, discipline, and authenticity will always shine."

What can listeners expect from The Corriculum that they won’t find on any other podcast?
"The Corriculum will bring a sort of reality to things. We can all be a little delusional at times, which is fine—I definitely am—but people like to see themselves in others. I want to bring happiness and joy while also opening doors for others to come in and find themselves."

Conclusion

Corri DuBose is not just making an entrance—she’s making a statement. With The Corriculum set to shake up the podcasting world, a modeling career that’s already proving her star power, and a deep passion for acting and music, she is a true force to be reckoned with.

As she embarks on this new chapter of her journey, one thing is clear: Corri DuBose is here to stay. She’s fearless, she’s bold, and she’s ready to claim every space she steps into. The world better make room—because this is just the beginning.

Corri DuBose is here. Get ready.
